EXPECTATIONS

 1.Applicants must come to the program through an application process. The application must be accompanied by a written recommendation letter from a family member, friend, pastor, ministor, or Chaplin; corrections officer or probation officer.  (A hand written Testimony from the applicant must be submitted with the application or at the time of interview.)

 2.Once an applicant is approved for an interview, a support group is assigned to the applicant. A meeting with the support group, the applicant, along with his mentor, or family member, will discuss all rules, regulations and expectations of both the applicant and the Ministry support group.

    A)    Ministry support groups are mostly made up of volunteers with expertise in the fields they are designated.
    B)
    A Mentor is a Christian individual outside of the program who can assist applicant mentally, physically, and spiritually.

 3.This program is strictly voluntary; however once an applicant has signed up they are strongly encouraged to complete the program and the time frame recommended for that applicant.

 4.Once a plan is put into place for the applicant, He will then be considered a client of “Action of Faith Ministries” for the time frame recommended.

 5.Program term lengths are determined by the board members and the individual needs of each applicant. (Most program terms have a minimum of six months.)

 6. Room and board will be provided to the client while in the program.

 7. Each client has an equal share in the household responsibilities while in the program. For example the cooking, cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, yard work, ECT. All household duties are to be shared by all clients equally.

8. All clients are expected to attend “New Vision Church” and be an active participant while in the program. (Churches or Religious centers outside of “New Vision Church” will not be accepted under any circumstances.)

 9. All clients will be expected to be an active participate of a Bible study class instructed through this program.

 10) Any educational class or trade school is not a substitute for Bible study.
                (Matt. 6:33 Seek first the Kingdom of God, then all these things will be added unto you.)

 11) Once a client has completed the program; with approval from the board members, they are welcome to extend their agreement to advance their training and to help mentor new applicants. (The Christian men who successfully complete the program are ideal for training and the support of the new applicants coming into the program.)
