The story of me is a familiar one of being blessed beyond what is reasonable according to most people that know me. It is about a 12 year old knowing that God had a greater good for my life than just for my personal good. I would grow up among 10 siblings in New York and transplant south when my father needed to seek employment. I would find folks that were kind and their goodness would send my life in a new direction. Leaving school early is something I regret. Yet out of that came an application placed in 1974 that would keep me going until this very day. In my life I have overcame many obstacles even from my childhood, a tragic illness that would reduce me to 88lbs, to only live and raise 3 great daughters. Through Bankruptcy, Foreclosure and even Divorce I am a living witness that God has a plan and no matter how much we try to unwrap that we are going to simply run right back into it. He is in our past and He is in our future. Almost 2 years ago God placed me in a building in Fayetteville Georgia where I started a church that people showed up to on the first Sunday without lights or water. God had a plan. I am currently the resident Pastor for AOF and glad to serve such a great group of people there. Church is not something we do it is who we are. Everything God has is wrapped up in us. Like you all, the struggles at time have been overwhelming to say the least. Hold on..... He is going to come through for you. He always has,,,, and he always will. The question is "will you come through for Him".
He has been waiting on you to just turn and move. Now is the time. Join us in your prayers, your support and whenever you can in our services. I know that you will find them fulfilling as I do. Be advised that we are not scripted nor do we over prepare for service since service is not what we do, it is what we are about. SO COME BE ABOUT IT WITH US...Looking for you to be there!
